A message from Interpretation Canada's new Yukon-based director

Are you involved with interpretation one way or the other? You might be happy to know that Yukon just recently had a representative join the board of Interpretation Canada, our national association for interpretation. YHMA member and former Director Sylvie Binette says:

I am very honoured and happy to have joined a team of passionate board members. I am hoping to contribute to the advancement of dialogue in interpretation and to that of the profession of heritage interpreter/interpretive guide. If you have some questions/suggestions/concerns you would like to bring to the IC board, feel free to send them my way. I will be happy to share them.

To post a job, e-mail info@interpretationcanada.ca. You can also visit their website for more news and to buy a membership at https://interpretationcanada.wildapricot.org/.

And on a cool note, there will be international on-line conference involving associations from the States, Mexico and Canada this coming year. So, mark your calendar, February 9-11, 2021.

Until then, stay well.
