The aim of this program is to enable non-profits to be in a financial position to resume normal operations after the COVID-19 pandemic.
This funding program can provide support for non-profit organizations that:
Non-profit organizations must be registered and currently in compliance with Yukon Corporate Affairs. Eligible applicants may request support up to a maximum of $20,000.
Yukon tourism non-profit organizations whose mandate and/or activities:
Yukon culture non-profit organizations whose mandate and/or activities are focused on culture, including but not limited to:
This does not include organizations whose mandates are outside of the scope of the Department of Tourism and Culture, such as education, religion, or language.
We encourage applicants to discuss their eligibility and application with the Yukon Historical and Museums Association prior to applying.
1. Complete an application form.
2. Submit the form to the Yukon Historical and Museums Association by the application deadline.
3. Applicants will be notified of funding results within 3 weeks of the intake date.

Those organizations facing the greatest financial losses and that have the most limited means to recover from those losses will take priority.
The deadline to apply is February 8, 2021 at 4:30 p.m.
After we have notified the recipients, a funding agreement will be prepared between the Yukon Historical and Museums Association and the applicant. This agreement will outline the terms of the funding and reporting requirements (if applicable).
Agreements must be signed before payments can be made.
