Individuals and institutions can join YHMA to participate in a diverse, vibrant heritage community and support efforts that conserve, interpret and celebrate the Yukon’s heritage.

The YHMA membership reflects the scope and diversity of the Yukon heritage community. Our institutional members include museums, First Nation cultural centres, historical societies, art galleries, archives, historic sites, science centres, zoos and nature reserves. Our individual members include museum employees, contractors and consultants, Board members and volunteers, and others actively involved in the heritage sector or who have an interest in heritage.

Our membership year runs from April 1-March 31st. Some membership categories include the option to renew for multiple years at a time.

Corporate members also receive a listing on this site and up to 2 free business card-sized ads in the YHMA newsletter (one per issue).

Please note, if you are registering for an Institutional or Corporate Affiliate membership, you must identify an organizational representative who will be our primary contact for the organization, and will have the ability to exercise member rights such as voting and standing for election to the board on behalf of your organization.

YHMA members receive a free membership with the Tourism Industry Association of the Yukon!

Yukon Historical and Museums Association members may opt into a free, limited (non-voting, non-preferred supplier) Affiliate Membership with TIA Yukon, and may purchase a Direct Membership at a discounted rate. YHMA members receive 30% off National Trust for Canada Membership!

The Yukon Historical and Museums Association partners with the National Trust for Canada to offer a 30% discount on a Trust membership to all our members.
